As per the figures of the year 2022 Indian Minerals Yearbook, Odisha is the largest
(2021-22, P) producer of bauxite.
As per the Govt. of India Notification S.O. 423 (E), dated 10th February 2015, mica has been
declared as a minor minerals hence the producers reported the production data directly to
the respective state and not to be IBM.
According to Indian Minerals Yearbook 2022, Rajasthan is largest producer of mica.
Note: - It is important to mention here that Rajasthan PSC has removed this question in
final answer key.
